I saw Chan Pheng's restaurant featured in the CBS news as the TOP 100 best Chinese Restaurants in the U.S. and decided to try them out. You can watch from the open kitchen window, as your orders are being sauteed in a hug traditional woke on the hot firing stove. The Mangolian Beef was so delicious, and the Shrimp with Ginger and Garlic sauce is just outstanding. I have never experienced any food so fresh and testy. A must try restaurant!

I agree with the other comment, but I am definately a dry-braised chicken person, and I throw in Mu Shu Chicken every other week.....seriously...I go at least once a week for their food and lunch buffet. With them, its all about quality, NOT quantity when it comes to their lunch buffet. They have about 10 dishes to choose from in their buffet line-up, all of which are fantastic, as opposed to those other chinese buffets who have 40 dishes to choose from but who knows how good they are or how long they have been sitting in their warming plates!!

The BEST Chinese Food In Chico. Family owned. Great service. I LOVE the General Tsao chicken!!! It makes my mouth water! Now I'm getting hungry again.
